Gloria's art reflects many
moods as well as a wide variety of subject matter.
Her exciting oils done almost entirely with palette
knife, have a freshness with a subtle depth, making
them truly unique. Having lived most of her life in
the High Sierra mountains of California, she
learned to feel the grandeur and power of nature in
all its splendor which is evident in her unique
style.
Gloria Beth was born and
educated in the San Francisco Bay Area where she
spent many hours sketching at the museums. She
furthered her education in art at Berkeley in
sculpture and pottery. She has studied under the
Italian artist deCurtis, and pursued her interest
in oil painting at Sacramento College and through
the Art Instruction, Inc. of Minnesota.
